You know you make it seem Like any other dream So try and fit the mold Only to lose control You’ll bear it like a curse One that’s well rehearsed The shaking hour hand Deserves a second glance So go ahead, give it another chance The words that you wrote Seemed pretty baroque Dangling in the past The long forgotten craft Finally on the verge You’ll get what you deserve A life of solitude Is easier to conclude Nature can read your mood Matching the tune of the bluest moon Just take a seat They’ll plant the seed Within your mind From red to green Is this what you want? To be a ghost that haunts When everything you need Is on the silver screen Heavy on the mind Lighter on the eyes When all that remains The familiar yesterday Nature can read your mood Matching the tune of the bluest moon Just take a seat They’ll plant the seed Within your mind From red to green
2.
Asleep at wheel again Lost control before you’ve begun Time is just too damn precious To submit to laziness Keep all of your receipts Proof’s not what I need Keep burning this paper trail And cover up your little scheme Raising your voice again Just like some long forgotten son Reduced to a name on a list Try not to overstay your visit The experts will state opinions Even if it’s a matter of fact Life is just too damn precious To throw away in hesitation It left a lot to imagination Of afterthoughts Locked in the resonator You don’t care what it means Just as long as it’s obscene We’re all cogs in the machine But you don’t mind

Heavy Heart 04:03
A reverie of scrambled thoughts That you couldn't hide The chemicals put in charge Of all of our lives We shield our eyes from the sun At least till the night Only to lie awake in bed And do it all again Looking for a place To rest my heavy heart Yeah, I guess that's a start The seasons, they will come and go It makes no difference Leaves left crushed underneath Angels in the snow I swear that it was The prettiest thing I've seen When I watched the world Turn a shade of green Looking for a place To rest my heavy heart Yeah, I guess that's a start Orders from above Have got no where else to go I told you so
4.
I can barely come to remember The expression on your face Which resembles a broken shelter That has seen better days You could’ve been more You could’ve been more It’s all you ever hear Now just try to follow the strings To meet your puppeteer The shade beneath the sea The waves amongst the trees Cinders plague the air There’s nothing to see here Move along Go, keep on sending me your postcards From where you’ve never been We can build up on this illusion And revise our histories But here’s some fair warning For next time you’re around Don’t bother looking for me I’ll be somewhere on the moon The shade beneath the sea The waves amongst the trees Cinders plague the air There’s nothing to see here The wings I’ll never have In the face of every laugh Of slowing frequencies There’s nothing to see here Move along
5.
I’ve lost my sense of speech While being discreet I missed my train of thought My soul’s trapped in the radio It’s got nowhere else to go Estranged in sonic cage Always listening while no one’s speaking It won’t be long, It won’t be long I haven’t any place to be Confusion is a guarantee Lost in different frequencies It’s difficult to figure out Why my mind is always sick with doubt Clarity out of reach Always listening while no one’s speaking It won’t be long, it won’t belong It won’t be long, it won’t belong Just know this isn’t the end It’s only a matter of when I’m not one to tempt
6.
You look the part When you play the fool An empty space Saved just for you Your veins of metal Were built to rust It’s a bitter taste That hits your tongue You don’t need to feel like no one You don’t need to feel like no one Complacency is a loaded gun When every task Is a petty chore And every face Is just blur Our stars are just Poked-out holes And angels are made Of styrofoam You don’t need to feel like no one You don’t need to feel like no one Complacency is a loaded gun Complacency is a loaded gun Don’t blame the poltergeist Your soul is overpriced More than you’ll know Your patience was Lost at sea Only to be Found in a well
7.
Rit 06:08
Trading places at a standstill You’re back in control Crooked picture frames Changed my preference And nothing’s built to last Lotus petals covered more ground Than we ever could The forgotten needle in the haystack Caught me by surprise Now that you know it’s all over Would you take it back? The things you said back then The scale’s off-kilter You’re left bewildered Lacking common sense Now that you know it’s all over Would you take it back? To walk the shards once again Of all the things you said Now that you know it’s all over How would you react? The things we said back then In the garden, search for safety Underneath our roots
8.
Your mind is worn, hardly social Running around in vicious circles It’s easier to turn and walk the other way Bury me down below Underneath piles of coal Slowly rekindling the ever-fading glow It’s not what you want The worlds that you haunt It’s not like you wanted anything We left off on a dark note Situations changing tone I had felt so indifferent to the news Indiscreet, in the open Our silences are hardly broken There’s no use in working it out It’s not what you want The worlds that you haunt It’s not like you wanted anything
9.
Underneath pools of water Lies the wealth of a world So consumed with their thoughts Intertwined When you’re led to the slaughter Don’t forget to pack real light Enjoy the fight because there’s no Choosing sides It’s an unlikely story But I’m still listening Don’t you fear, there is no one To overhear You don’t need a reprisal It never dug that deep From the start all that you wanted was Finality
10.
Crime Scene 04:21
You say you know the words I don’t think you do You don’t need to pretend At least anymore People standing in crowds Are making me nervous It’s only a matter of time until They start scratching the surface Return to the scene of a crime You didn’t commit Come and join the silence Only to find it slowly breaking Always at a loss for words Not to be found Revelator of the earth The sea and the clouds Drowning in a flood of concerns That flower the ground Finalize all your mistakes Right here and now Return to the scene of a crime You didn’t commit Come and join the silence Only to find it slowly breaking The torment you carefully composed Always comes your way You think you’re in company I say you’re alone False notions of brotherhood Don’t hold very long
11.
It feels as though it all Slips away the closer you get If you’re paying attention What resides is a mere fragment Finding safety in some clothing That you proudly flaunt But if only you could tell When something’s clearly wrong Our eyes meet Worlds collide All belief Comes at a price In this holographic world Projections are all you see Drowning in the same color Truth you kept well hid Our eyes meet Worlds collide Shaping the Great divide Our eyes meet Worlds collide Just believe It comes at a price Come back to me Come back to me Caught in the picture Of a future you’ve thrown away
12.
What am I supposed to do when I’m feeling hopeless? At least I’m not angry anymore Eventually a day will come to pass Along with everything I am What am I supposed to do when I’m feeling sorry? For everything I haven’t done As far as I know only one thing's for sure This movie has lost its allure I don’t want to feel I just want to disappear What do you do when you’re feeling small? Do you simply brush it off? One of these days it’ll be too much When time stands still and you’re shaken up Stop trying so hard to call my bluff I find it already hard enough To be someone, someplace, everyday And keep it all so well contained I don’t want to feel I just want to disappear When it’s all over will you look back with a laugh? Was it all that bad?
