Disquietude 03:36
Stepping out of element Hung up on what you said When the walls are closing in Sometimes you need a breather Tremble at the slightest touch It’s such a pretty little ruse You’ve got me hanging by your noose I met a surly old man He grabbed my arm And began to say, “Silence is my name But now I’m talking to you.” It was the only vow, He couldn’t break. It’s such a pretty little ruse You’ve got me hanging by your noose I don’t know why I feel confused All my thoughts are torn askew
2.
Used 03:14
Feeling used, the more you admit to Slowly floats down the stream Always in tune, with everything except For what you left behind Empty words, with a blank expression Dirty looks, and eternal volition Says it all, even though it’s over Always accused, it’s the easiest thing to do But, oh man, it’s such a shame Under the moon, the reflection of who you were Is all that truly remains Empty words, with a blank expression Dirty looks, and eternal volition Says it all, even though it’s over
3.
So you think you’ve won the war, do you? It’s just a passing of the torch, to lead me Here’s your chance to take a stand, in line I’m led to think things aren’t quite right Stuck in between of what will never be So here goes nothing Nothing at all Hoping to be something Anything at all Free will comes at a price, your life Fallen victim to some bad advice Beware of the words that you’re heeding A farewell disguised as a greeting Stuck in between of what will never be So here goes nothing Nothing at all Hoping to be something Anything at all
4.
A venue of vultures Revolving Choosers begging To choose In a hall of mirrors Everyone’s wearing your clothes It’s a misunderstanding I didn’t mean to pry It’s your misfortune Take a bow There is no honor Among kings Rising higher Towards the sun You’re a sculpture Nothing’s set in stone Words that felt so sure Turned around Is it clearer now?
5.
St. Jade 03:23
The nights are growing cold As winter takes its toll Distorted visions make Hours turn to days This time they won’t buy Another word that you say Oh well, why bother? So here’s another cliché I want my place in the sun To ignite both of my lungs When beauty turns black Expectations fall flat This time they won’t buy Anything that you say Oh well, why bother? I don’t mean any harm Slowly degrade At your own pace Pray to St. Jade She’s just running late I’ve fallen into a spell You know the feeling well Languor is in the air I can’t stand the glare This time they won’t buy Anything that you say Oh well, why bother? In this game of charades
6.
It should have been you; it’s all you had to do Too good to be true, never had a doubt Plans always fall through, or so it seems A false alarm, hardly made a sound He walks alone, the dirty cobblestone Roaming around some ghost town Whistling a tune that echoes through Alleys and streets, making ends meet Lost the spark in repetition Refracted heart, put out of commission The policeman’s at home, in a twilight sleep He won’t feel a thing, just for tonight The kids are out, causing a stir The memory fades; it’s such a blur Lost the spark in repetition Refracted heart, put out of commission In the light everything’s noticed What’s out of sight stays out of focus On prospect street
7.
Idle Hands 03:35
I didn’t warn you in time No one can help you Now that you’re on your own Empty excuses filled with truth You’re smiling and clueless Nobody has the time Someone save me now If only I knew how You really should let me in Now that it’s freezing I can feel it under my skin This doesn’t seem quite right Horizons are waning with My plane of sight Someone save me now If only I knew how Well I’ll let you down This time This time You shouldn’t have asked me how I am I’ll just lie here, waiting These idle hands

Broken Wing 05:30
The monorails guide the insincere Defined by chills that won’t let go With a fear of the unknown In the end you will reap what you sow Broken wing Crushed eternally Paint over all your lies You poor thing In time it will heal And turn into something real Simple minds flood our world Complications rise within our core Relationships appear to sink Settle down and reconvene Broken wing Crushed eternally Paint over all your lies You poor thing In time it will heal And turn into something real
10.
Temporal 02:58
A stinging silence fills the room The time has come again Seasons, hours, and old friends Words left unsaid Nothing is real Life’s a Ferris wheel The phone rings for no one At the bottom line Piercing holes in your heart Just to let it breathe Nothing is real Life’s a Ferris wheel A stinging silence fills the room The time has come again
11.
Stray 05:00
Why do you run away? Beautiful little stray Someday you’ll finally find That there’s nowhere to hide Why are you troubled now? Were you ever, anyhow? I’ll cast a passing glance A familiar face, older now The thread that you’re weaving Far from eternal There is no beginning There never was Trying to measure up Constantly to standards of The one thing that you’re not You tell yourself, quite a lot It’s time to douse the flame Just give in to the rain Nothing’s impossible Except for everything The thread that you’re weaving Far from eternal There is no beginning There never was
12.
Nightingale 03:44
Always in my head The recurring musings Of delayed success But to you I’m lazy Deconstruct my past For some brighter days To break through the shade Though it cuts like a razor It’s hard to admit; the truth can burn It’s a nasty habit that occurs When no one’s watching over you Just soar higher like a bird One final serenade Gives the breathe of life To the man of clay And all she heard were bum notes It’s hard to admit; the truth can burn It’s a nasty habit that occurs When no one’s watching over you Just soar higher like a bird
13.
Aether 03:31
The faces of people that you once endured Resemble and tremble at what’s in store An inner desire that yearns for more Like patients that wander deep within the ward Don’t wait for me It’s a countdown to zero The truth of the matter rarely seems to show In a world that acts so cavalier Days will turn into months and years But now it seem so very clear Don’t wait for me It’s a countdown to zero Zero

Careless 04:17
I cannot fall asleep, but if this is a dream I’ll look down at my feet, count the clouds beneath The pictures are blurry; it’s just my frame of mind I couldn’t care less; you could’ve cared more I enjoy your company But I’m very sorry So sorry For I fear what I might become I’ll tell you a story of when I was younger Nothing was boring; the nights were flying by Sew this memory, it’s happier at the seams Do not worry; it’s just a song we sing I enjoy your company But I’m very sorry So sorry For I fear what I’ve become Did I find you or did you find me?

about

After releasing the Grand Mal-EP, I thought that it was time to cut the BS and record a full length album. And so I did. Oh, and I also practiced some parkour in between recording breaks.

Enjoy!
